Well!!

What can I say about Becks and Mikes's day, it was truly magical from the minute i stepped into the hotel room where the ladies were getting ready.

I instantly knew these were my people!!  I loved the banter, cheekiness and laughter of the day.

Becks and her bridesmaids, her sister Gem, and her best friend Becky treated me like they had known me for years, same with her mum, Mandy, and Mikes's mum, Sal. The morning flew by in a hum of laughter, champagne, pastries and fun.

Everything was calm right up until it was time for Becks too get in her beautiful dress. There's always that panic that everything will be late, but like I always say, the wedding can't start without you so don't worry, don't stress. Enjoy your moments, take it all in.

I knew mike would cry, knew there would be tears in his eyes, honestly I fully expected Beckie to as well, we had to keep saying, "don't cry, think of your make up" Little Ezra, Beckie, and Mikes son, came running out of the door to greet her just before she walked down the aisle, he was super proud walking before his mum, you could see it in his little face.

Love and laughter flowed through the ceremony, conducted by Prue from https://yourceremony.org.uk/ Cheshire East registers.

Afterward, there were many congratulations, drinks, laughter, confetti, and smiles. We were so lucky with the weather! An October wedding and we had a mixture of clouds and blue skies!

Just before the wedding breakfast started, Beckie and Mike had a few moments for us to capture some shots of them dancing to the lovely lady playing the violin on the back gardens of the hall.

After the fun of the speeches and the gorgeous wedding breakfast - thank you to Beckie, Mike, and Rookery Hall for feeding me! It was gorgeous!

The evening started with the arrival of a backdrop and props for those really sensible photos! The cutting of the gorgeous cake.... yes I can confirm it's gorgeous as I was given a piece - I can be bribed with cake - always remember that 😁...

After the first dance of the beautiful bride and groom & of course the first dance of Beckie with her dad which brought a tear to a few eyes, the dance floor was packed!

So my lovely future bride and groom's - when you venue hunt, please look at Rookery for its beauty, its lovely staff, and its scrumptious food.

Please feel free to contact me here to book your wedding photography with me! x
